AN presents list of 104 citizens eligible for rectors of the Electoral Power

The 2023 Electoral Nominations Committee presented to the National Assembly (AN), the list of 104 citizens eligible to run for the position of principal and alternate rectors of the National Electoral Council (CNE).

In this sense, the president of the commission, deputy Giusseppe Alessandrello, stressed that “after 56 continuous days of hard work I want to thank you for the fruitful and efficient work done.”

He also indicated that “once the evaluation process is completed, the committee determines that there are 104 citizens who have progressed satisfactorily throughout the process and proceeds to apply the scale (set of standards) of evaluations, once applied, the list is available. of eligible that will be presented today.

For his part, deputy José Gregorio Correa, a member of the commission, stressed that the teamwork of the commission and civil society, and added that the committee “provides the country with clear accounts, and gives it confidence so that the return of the differences can be resolved in a voting center”.

Similarly, the president of the AN, Jorge Rodríguez, greeted and congratulated the entire team that made up the 2023 Electoral Nominations Committee throughout the process of electing the candidates to occupy the positions of the new rectory of the CNE:
