Head of State calls to consolidate great political strength of the Bolivarian Revolution

The President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, on Monday called on the parties of the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP) to join forces, with the aim of consolidating the perfect victory in the municipal elections scheduled for December 10. .

“We have to look for the union of the revolutionary forces”, he said, adding that: “We need to agree and unify the candidacies and forces in the 335 municipalities of the country.”

“There cannot be any divisionism, cannot be any chaotic driving, but we will take structural, strategic and deep corrective measures, but let’s not allow to pretend to divide the popular forces”, he detailed.

He added that with this measure a new victory will be added to the Bolivarian Revolution that will make it possible to build the fourth victory in less than a year, considering that: “We conquered peace against the “guarimbas” (riots); the battle of the election, installation and deployment of the National Constituent Assembly, and the most recent, 15 days ago, we had the victory in 80% of the Governorates with a 54% of the votes of the people”, he stressed.

“Now we are going to a new election battle at the end of the year, on December 10” with the Municipal elections, to which are called 19,740,846 voters (19,514,561 Venezuelans and 226,285 foreigners). He assured that on that day will be consolidated the third ring of protection of the Bolivarian Revolution.

That day will also be elected the Governor of Zulia state, since the National Constituent Assembly convened new regional elections in the state, after declaring the absolute lack of the elected governor, Juan Pablo Guanipa, who was not sworn in before the originary power.

Maduro asked the Governors, the popular leaders and the High Political Command “to make an extraordinary effort”, and “not to allow anyone to pretend to divide the popular forces”, he stressed.

He assured that the request of the right wing of not participating in the municipal elections, evidences their low level of popularity with the people, after the violent actions promoted since April in small spots of the country.
