Cabello: The Venezuelan right uses violence as a tool because they have no leadership

Diosdado Cabello, constituent and first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), assures that the Venezuelan right wing uses violence as a political tool due to their lack of leadership.

“There is no leadership in the opposition that is capable of summoning anyone, and that is why they are calling for violent acts”, he said in the “José Vicente Hoy” (José Vicente Today) program, broadcast on Sunday, May 13. He also stated that: “The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has had the opportunity to know who leads the opposition”, he also said that: “After 15 years something must be happening in the opposition.”

He added that: “We need an opposition to build within the country. Not a stone-throwing opposition based in Washington, (…). We tell the people who are opposing: Come with us, we are going to build a country. This country belongs to everyone, Chávez showed it. “
