President Maduro departed to Moscow to meet with Putin

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, departed on Monday to Moscow, Russia, in order to hold a working meeting with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, to continue strengthening diplomatic relations and ties of friendship between brotherly countries:

“I’m going out to a necessary work meeting with President Vladimir Putin. We are going to review the joint cooperation and development plan Russia – Venezuela (…) To close 2018 with a flourish in terms of the strategic relations that Venezuela is building in the world”, said the Head of State from the Simón International Airport Bolívar, in Maiquetía, Vargas state.

The president has fulfilled a broad work agenda in recent days, in which he held meetings with representatives of the Republic of Iran, last Friday; his visit to Mexico – on the weekend – during the act of investiture of Andrés Manuel López Obrador as president, and this Monday’s journey where were strengthened cooperation ties with Turkey.
