The Sectorial Vice President and Minister of Communication, Tourism and Culture, Jorge Rodríguez, reported this Sunday in the afternoon the appearance of 10 new cases of Coronavirus in the country for a total of 129 registered cases and 1 (new) death for a total of 3 deceased in total.
He also announced that in the next few days will continue house-by-house visits to citizens to continue the investigations and rapid diagnostic tests of Covid-19 in the country to stop the outbreak of Coronavirus.
“We have almost 20,000 health professionals deployed throughout the national territory, attending those cases who answered the Covid-19 survey on the Patria system”, he stressed.
Rodríguez reiterated this Sunday the call to the entire population of the country to continue complying with discipline the social and collective quarantine to stop the outbreak of the Coronavirus in Venezuela.
“Quarantine is the only mechanism to flatten the Coronavirus transmission chain”, said the Minister in his speech from Miraflores Palace.
