COVID: Venezuela registered this Thursday 375 community and six imported cases

This Thursday the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, informed the country that in the last 24 hours a total of 381 new infections were detected: 375 community cases and 6 imported cases from Colombia.

This was announced through the Twitter social network, highlighting that the entity that registers the highest number of new community cases is Táchira state (98), with active infections in 10 municipalities; followed by the states: Miranda (63), Falcón (49) and the Capital District (48).

Regarding the report of deaths by Covid-19 this Thursday, Delcy Rodríguez indicated that, unfortunately, 6 Venezuelans lost their fight to the virus, among them, 2 men aged 51 and 50 from Táchira state, 2 men aged 52 and 76 from Zulia, a 56-year-old man from Trujillo state, and a 72-year-old man from Aragua state.

The Executive Vice President of the Republic also added that the general statistics of Covid-19 in Venezuela to date are as follows:

– Total infections: 88,416

– Recovered patients: 82,284 (93%)

– Current active cases: 5,373

For her part, Dr. Rodríguez stressed that following the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro, the Bolivarian Government works tirelessly in the fight against Covid-19. Up to date, Mission Venezuela Bella has exceeded 3 and a half million disinfections in the country, thanks to the cleaning and beautification journeys.
