COVID: Venezuela registered 483 infections in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, were registered 447 cases in the national territory due to community transmission and 36 imported cases, for a total of 483 infections by Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, informed that the majority of the community cases are located in Táchira state with 104 cases; 69 in the Capital District; 49 in Falcón; 43 Cojedes; 39 in Miranda; 35 in Lara; 34 in Zulia; 33 in Yaracuy; 26 in La Guaira; 15 in Nueva Esparta; 9 in Carabobo; 8 in Amazonas; 4 in Portuguesa; 3 in Aragua; 3 in Sucre; 2 in Mérida; 2 in Anzoátegui; 2 in Monagas and 1 in Apure state.

On the imported cases, 30 are coming from Colombia, which has more than one million cases; as well as 3 coming from Peru with the highest mortality rates in the world; and 3 cases coming from Ecuador.

In a videoconference with the Congress 2.0 of the Communes and the Commemoration of the 8th Anniversary of the “Rudder Hit“, from Miraflores Palace, directed by the Venezuelan Head of State; the Vice President emphasized that 93 percent of the patients have recovered, “thanks to the treatment schemes that you have approved and that you guarantee free of charge to our population”.

She also informed about the unfortunate physical departure of 6 Venezuelans, in the states of Miranda, Anzoátegui and Amazonas.
