Venezuela reiterates to the UN to intervene so that the Government of Brazil controls the tragedy that Brazilians are experiencing due to COVID-19

This Wednesday, the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza, again asked the United Nations (UN) to intervene so that the Government of Brazil controls and assumes the tragedy of COVID-19 that the Brazilian people are experiencing:

“Four days ago we ratified to the Secretary General of the UN what we alerted him 9 months before, that the UN must intervene so that the government of Brazil assumes and controls the tragedy and thus protects all of South America,” wrote the Venezuelan Chancellor through from the Twitter social network @jaarreaza.

Likewise, Chancellor Arreaza highlighted that Brazil today registers a new record of daily deaths from Coronavirus.

Brazil reached a new record of 1,972 deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours this Tuesday, March 9, 2021, to accumulate a total of 268,370 deaths due to the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, as reported the Ministry of Health.

In this way, the South American giant adds 48 consecutive days with an average of more than a thousand daily deaths due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Brazilian Ministry of Health also indicated that during the last day it registered 70,764 new cases of COVID-19, with which the country accounts for a total of 11,122,429 infections of respiratory disease, as reported the TeleSur Web portal.
