COVID: 683 new infections in Venezuela during the last 24 hours

This Monday, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, announced through the Twitter social network that the Presidential Commission for the Prevention and Control of Covid-19 confirms 644 community cases and 39 imported cases coming from Colombia, for a total of 683 new infections during the last 24 hours in Venezuela.

In this regard, she highlighted that the entity that presents the greatest number of infections today is Lara state,with a total of 104 active cases in its 9 municipalities, followed by Yaracuy state with 86 cases, and the Capital District with 81.

She also informed that unfortunately, today 5 Venezuelans have died from the virus: 2 men aged 61 and 70 in Barinas state, 2 men aged 72 and 84 in Sucre state,and 1 man aged 55 in Apure state.

Delcy Rodríguez also pointed out that Venezuela has up to date 79,117 cases of Covid-19, of which 8,627 are active, 69,832 have recovered (88%), 6,841 are in hospitals, 1,539 in CDI, 247 in private clinics, and with the unfortunate figure of 658 deceases.

Finally, the Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez highlighted that, as announced by President Nicolás Maduro, the application of the Venezuelan formula 7+7 Plus has been initiated in the country to break the chain of contagion of Covid-19.
