This Tuesday, the Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, denounced through his account on the Twitter social network, that the current US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, obstructs corruption investigations and audits of his own management, but presents himself as the champion of the fight against corruption in other countries.
«A typical double standard of the ruling corporate elite in the USA. They are pure fake. #SanctionsAreACrime», highlighted the high official of the Bolivarian Government, Jorge Arreaza Monserrat.
In this regard, Mike Pompeo tweeted this Tuesday, through his Twitter account @SecPompeo, that the former ministers of Venezuela, Luis Alfredo Motta Domínguez and Eustiquio José Lugo Gómez, «used their powerful positions to enrich themselves instead of to the Venezuelan people. I am designating Motta and Lugo as not eligible to enter the United States», which is why Arreaza offered his reaction on the same social network used by Pompeo.
It should be noted that Mike Pompeo announced that both Motta Domínguez and Lugo Gómez, both former ministers of the National Executive, will not be able to enter the US, alleging that former Venezuelan officials «used their powerful positions to enrich themselves instead of their people».
