The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced this Thursday that the new school year 2020-2021 will begin on September 16 of the current year, under the “Cada Familia, Una Escuela” (Every Family A School) modality.
During a jouenry to mark the end of the school and academic year, the Head of State pointed out that in the holiday season that is already beginning, in times of pandemic, soon will be announced vacation plans, days of entertainment and recreation, so that children, girls, youth and family can join.
He stressed that Venezuela will apply technological modalities for the new school year until further notice, to take care of the health of children, youth, and teachers.
These decisions were released by the National Executive, after this Wednesday and Thursday the World Health Organization (WHO) said that until now “We have not seen the peak of this crisis, that worse times are coming”.
In this sense, the Venezuelan dignitary added a call to all the Venezuelan people to take care of themselves. “Without alarmism, without nervousness, taking good care of each other, together, we will continue to advance controlling this virus, taking care of our people”.
