258 nationals returned to the country from Peru in a humanitarian flight of Conviasa

In a humanitarian flight of Conviasa as part of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland Plan), 258 Venezuelan nationals arrived in Venezuela early Wednesday morning from Lima, capital of Peru, as informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“In the early hours of Wednesday, June 30, another flight of the Plan Vuelta a La Patria arrived in Maiquetia from Lima with 258 Venezuelans who decided to return voluntarily to join their loved ones and work for Venezuela”, published the Venezuelan Chancellory on its Twitter account @CancilleriaVE – https://twitter.com/CancilleriaVE/status/1410269511312461828

Similarly, the Conviasa airline, in a video message posted on its account on the Instagram social network @laconviasa – https://www.instagram.com/p/CQwAVL9jQZH/?utm_medium=share_sheet reported on the arrival of this large group of Venezuelans to the soil of the Homeland:

“Our mission to rescue Venezuelans stranded abroad gains strength thanks to the plan back to the homeland”, highlighted Conviasa in the text that accompanies said posting.

Solidarity mission:

The Plan Vuelta a la Patria has so far returned more than 25,000 Venezuelans from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Mexico, Martinique, Bonaire, Italy, Spain, Belarus, and Trinidad and Tobago.

It is worth remembering that the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, activated the flights of the Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautical Industries and Air Services (Conviasa) to support the Plan Vuelta a la Patria for the voluntary return of Venezuelan nationals who are victims of xenophobia and adverse economic conditions abroad, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.

In order to avoid the propagation of the coronavirus, the Conviasa aeronautical consortium monitors the strict compliance of the protocols indicated by the sanitary authority, which include the application of the PCR test, disinfection stations, obligatory use of the mask and the observance of social distancing during the trip.
