President Maduro commemorates 225 years of hero Antonio José de Sucre’s birth

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, sent a message on Monday through his Twitter account to commemorate the 225 years of the birth of the independence hero Antonio José de Sucre.

Born in Cumaná, Sucre state, on February 3, 1795, he was one of the most prominent heroes of Latin American independence on the battlefield, says the web portal of the Ministry of People’s Power for Communication and Information.

As a politician, he held the presidency of Bolivia and worried about the proper functioning of the public administration. He was rigorous in complying with penalties for crimes or acts of corruption.
