Remigio Ceballos urged the Venezuelan people to be on alert against continued US attacks

The chief of the Operational Strategic Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), Remigio Ceballos, said on Tuesday that although Venezuela is stronger, the people should be on alert because the US government’s attacks will continue:
“We must be on alert because the attacks will continue, just as it corresponded to the Father of our Homeland, Simón Bolívar, who suffered a stubborn persecution for his libertarian ideas”. exhorted Ceballos from the Ayacucho hall of Miraflores Palace, where two important events were commemorated: The Bicentennial of the Basic Law of Colombia and the 189th anniversary of the leap to immortality of the Father of the Homeland, Liberator Simón Bolívar
He stressed that the country is the last stronghold of the US hegemonic power, because their fundamental goal is to try to fragment the Bolivarian Revolution and take over its natural resources.
“Today we observe how a political class plays on chaos and get out of the country to lie about Venezuela and its legitimate government, in order to seize power by force and not by votes, because they have always been afraid of the people”, he said in statements transmitted in a national radio and television joint broadcast.
He asserted that Venezuela is stronger than ever, because the people has an unwavering faith: The revolutionary cause.
“They attack us, but we are free, sovereign and independent and we will always fight to defend every inch of this land”.
He made a call to work so that every day it is guaranteed that Bolívar’s doctrine is internalized in the nation: “Let’s be like Bolívar, the Liberator, and like Chavez who reaffirmed it”, Ceballos emphasized.
