The sectoral vice president for Communication, Tourism and Culture, Jorge Rodríguez, attended on Tuesday the inauguration of the elected president of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, and vice president Cristina Fernández, who took an oath before the Legislative Assembly of this country.
Rodríguez attended the protocol act on behalf of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as part of the initiative to reestablish relations of cordiality and cooperation between the two peoples, after the separation that occurred with the arrival of neo-liberal Mauricio Macri to the Presidency of the South American country.
Venezuela and Argentina strengthened bilateral relations of cooperation through alliances between the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chavez, and Nestor Kirchner, elected as President of the Argentine nation for the first time in 2003, both for the integrationist impulse in South America.
