Capital District, Miranda and five other states remain in radical quarantine

Starting this Monday the 27th and throughout the week ending on August 2, the country will maintain the three levels of flexibilization of the 7 × 7 quarantine according to the Covid-19 variants verified in the various regions of the country: radical quarantine, partial flexibilization and wide flexibilization; this was announced this Sunday by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

The information was offered by the Head of State during a video conference broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, with the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, who detailed the balance of coronavirus cases in the country.

The President pointed out that after 72 hours of consultation with the social movements, mayors, governors and protectors, it was decided to maintain the three levels of confinement applied so far throughout the national territory.

Starting this Monday, July 27, enter a radical quarantine: Capital District, Miranda, Zulia, Sucre, Bolívar, La Guaira and Táchira states, due to the high levels of contagion in these entities.

Anzoátegui, Aragua, Falón, Lara, Nueva Esparta, Yaracuy, Monagas and Mérida states enter the second level of partial flexibilization of the quarantine.

The states that will be ruled by level three of wide quarantine easing are the following: Portuguesa, Guárico, Barinas, Amazonas, Delta Amacuro, Trujillo, Cojedes and Apure, except the border municipalities that remain in radical quarantine.

The Head of State requested maximum support from the regional and municipal governments to enforce these measures and combine the 3 levels of quarantine necessary.

In this sense, the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, explained that at level 2 of quarantine will join the 10 sectors: textile industries and veterinary practices.
