The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, approved on Friday a new decree of State of Exception and Economic Emergency, destined to defeat the coup d’ etat promoted by the right wing, the economic war, to socially stabilize the country and against international threats.
“Here is included the confronting to external threats, today in Washington there was a meeting against our country and Alvaro Uribe has requested the intervention of Venezuela by foreign armies. There are being activated measures from the US, requested and promoted by factors of the the Venezuelan right wing encouraged by the fascist coup d’ etat in Brazil, and I am obliged to defend the peace and national sovereignty”, said the president during a meeting of the Cabinet at Miraflores Palace.
Also, the President explained that this new decree is more complete and comprehensive for the protection for people, ensuring peace and stability in the country. “This will allow in this May, June, July and the extension of this year 2016, to restore the productive capacity of Venezuela, to attend our people, to strengthen the local committees of Supply and Production (CLAP), and to prepare to denounce, neutralize and defeat the external aggression that has been initiated against our country. “
