Jiménez: President of Ecuador lied to the UN

Isbemar Jiménez, president of Radio Nacional de Venezuela, recalled this Friday that the president of Ecuador, Lenin Moreno, lied to the UN, saying that 6,000 Venezuelans with diseases are daily entering his country, alleging that there are a million Venezuelans in Ecuador, a figure which was denied by Venezuela

She added that “We remind Lenin Moreno, that in Venezuela there are 500,000 Ecuadorians, to say the least, who receive all the benefits that any Venezuelan receives and who have not left the country, who continue living in our land because they are already part of it”. She also indicated that the Venezuelan Minister for Communication, Jorge Rodríguez, during a press conference held on Wednesday, denied the president of Ecuador.

“They are so unworthy, they are so coward, that they are not capable of solving their differences through the vote, but by imprisoning their adversaries, such as in Brazil’s case”, said Jiménez. The information was provided during the broadcast of the “Via Alterna” (Alternate Way) program, broadcast by the RNV Informative channel.

As it will be recalled, after Minister Rodríguez denied the statements made by the president of Ecuador, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of that country published a communiqué announcing the expulsion of the Venezuelan ambassador in that country.

For its part, the Venezuelan Government took the reciprocal action against the charge of business of Ecuador in Venezuela, Elizabeth Méndez, who was declared Persona Non-Grata, and so she has 72 hours to leave the country.
