Rodríguez: Dialogue board reports vertiginous advances to respond to the Venezuelan people

The representative of the National Executive in the National Dialogue Board, Jorge Rodríguez, said on Monday that the Dialogue Board headed by the Bolivarian Government together with representatives of the political parties of the national opposition, reports vertiginous advances to respond to the Venezuelan people.
After completing the meeting that had the participation of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, Rodriguez said that these vertiginous advances have meant a response to many of the concerns that all Venezuelan men and women have.
He also noted that “the foundations have been laid to achieve a true process of reconciliation and strengthening of the democratic institution, in a climate of respect for the sovereignty and independence of Venezuela”.
He explained that among the elements discussed with the President of the Republic and that are already part of the execution of the agreement that two months ago was signed between the representatives of the Venezuelan opposition and the forces of the Bolivarian Revolution, is a quite transcendental element, given that 2020 is an eminently electoral year, since the constitutional period to elect the authorities of the National Parliament is met, and it is nothing other than the strengthening of the institution of the vote.
Likewise, the head of the Bolivarian Government delegation indicated that “there are also the contributions and agreements that have been reached in economic and social matters”.
He also stressed the issue of national reconciliation, “a process in which it is essential that the voice of the victims be heard”, referring to relatives who lost loved ones in the riots of 2017.
