The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Tacek El Aissami, said that the ANC has the task of establishing the new constitutional legal framework of the new economic model.
He recalled that the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, proposed nine objectives in his calling for the realization of an ANC. The second of these objectives was to define a new model of post-oil productive economy.
The senior official thanked the ANC for the meeting with the National Economic Council as part of the national political dialogue.
“First encounter, of many that we will have. We are just starting a great journey of national debate, of a national political dialogue”, he said.
He pointed out that the ANC has as a task to boost the recovery of the economy, to move towards the strengthening of a mixed economy model and to evaluate the regulatory role of the State.
“Only with the collective effort can we give birth to this new model of development, in this new historical era”, he said.
