Colombian government prepares terrorist gangs to attack the country

The president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, warned on Thursday about the sending of terrorist gangs from Colombia, with the aim of attacking the country and generating violence in the nation.
“We are on alert against the terrorists that Colombia is sending. They are sending several terrorist gangs to harm the people of Venezuela. Maximum alert against these criminals who intend to come from Colombia and fill us with violence”, said the Venezuelan head of state from the inauguration of the 2019 Criminalistic Expo, which takes place at the Poliedro de Caracas.
The National President instructed the State security forces to be on alert against the violence that could be generated in the country.
Similarly, he denounced that the Venezuelan right wing seeks to fracture the police forces, through the politicization of the actions carried out by the security forces.
In this regard, he made reference to the actions undertaken by the Corps of Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations (CICPC) to clarify the murder of the former councilor of the Voluntad Popular party, Edmundo Rada, which occurred on October 16.
“They tried to politicize this, and the CICPC did a patient job, got the evidences, the physical evidences, all the documents (…) The political forces trying to mediatize everything, de-meriting the police forces, because these are those right-wing forces that try to conspire to divide the country’s police forces”, said Maduro during the exhibition, in which participate more than 62 exhibitors.
On the other hand, the Venezuelan president emphasized the importance of the security forces in guaranteeing the peace of the nation.
“We have to improve so that the country has security, social peace. The security and police forces of the country are a central column of peace, security, and tranquility of the Venezuelan family”, he said.
