The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, commemorated this Sunday the 210 years of the Proclamation of Independence of Venezuela, and reiterated that the original spirit of April 19 (1810) invokes the patriots to remain loyal, through the path of the Liberators, to maintain the Free and Sovereign Homeland.
Through his official accounts on social networks, the National President recalled that the cry of rebellion 210 years ago, opposed the imperial power and colonialism and opened the ways to start building the Free and Sovereign Homeland, which today the Venezuelan people defends with courage.
“The originary spirit of April 19 invokes us and the patriots to remain loyal, on the path of the Liberators, defending with our lives the right to carve out our own destiny, free from interference and imperial forces”, he expressed through from the Facebook social network.
He urged the Venezuelan people to remain active in defense of the right to carve out its own destiny, free from imperial interference.
