Venezuela ratifies to ILO compliance of agreements signed in labor matters


The Minister of People’s Power for the Social Process of Work, Eduardo Piñate, met on Tuesday in Switzerland, Geneva, with the Director General of the International Labor Organization (ILO), Guy Rayder, to ratify Venezuela’s faithful compliance with the international agreements signed in the work scope.
During the 337th meeting of the Governing Council of the International Labor Organization (ILO), which takes place from October 24 to November 7, director Guy Rayder ratified the disposition of ILO for cooperation and support to the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, reviews the press release of the Ministry for the Social Process of Work.
The participation of Minister Piñate on behalf of Venezuela is scheduled for Wednesday, November 6, at the 337th Meeting of the ILO administration council.
Let’s remember that the International Labor Organization (ILO) meets three times a year, specifically in March, June and November. During the meeting, decisions are made on ILO policies, is decided on the International Labor Conference, is adopted the draft Program and Budget of the Organization for its presentation, and the Director General is elected.
