Non-oil exports between Venezuela and Russia increased by 453%

In a new edition of “Con Maduro+”, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reported that non-oil exports between Venezuela and Russia increased by 453%.

In the news analysis of the economic sphere, he referred to non-oil exports between Venezuela and Russia, highlighting this positive increase for both nations:

«In two years of non-oil exports, there is a 453% increase in trade and integration relations between the economic and productive sectors of Venezuela towards Russia,» said President Maduro.

In order for the export offer to be realized, the Head of State considers that the export vocation of the Venezuelan economic and productive sectors has already been established and is reflected in the plans of companies and businessmen.

Perspectives and expectations are opening up, since Russia has been replacing imports from Western countries, «countries that have attacked them and sanctioned them»; with products from Venezuela that come to cover the needs.

Projection of relations in the coming years:

In the recent commission led by Vice President Delcy Rodríguez and the Vice President of the Government of the Russian Federation, Dimitri Chernyschenko, – highlighted President Maduro -, all areas of cooperation between the two nations were defined, in strategic areas such as energy, oil, investments, petrochemicals, gas, strengthening of the National Electric System (SEN), military and commercial development.

Finally, he highlighted the high level of maturity and political confidence between the two countries and the knowledge of the potential of each one, with a plan projected for six (6) more years. «We have a plan until 2030,» he said.
