President Maduro asks the FANB for unity and cohesion in any circumstance

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, on Thursday asked the members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) maximum loyalty, unity and cohesion “in any circumstance that we may live”.
“Loyalty is a collective value that is exercised as a nation, as a people and that is exercised as an institution to demand and self-demand; loyalty to be better and to be more efficient”, he added.
The call was made at the closing of the military march that departed the Bolivarian Military Academy and culminated in the headquarters of the Ministry of People’s Power for Defense, in which participated the different military units stationed in Fort Tiuna, led by the head of the Office of Defense, Vladímir Padrino López.
Regarding the events recorded last April 30 in the distributor Altamira, where a small group of military and civilian troops tried to rise up against the constitutional government, Maduro warned that this is part of the empire’s strategies to intervene in the country: “They seek to divide us, to weaken us and to make us confront ourselves, amongst brothers”.
“The future of Venezuela must be that of peace, of prosperity and work”, he insisted in his calling to the military units stationed in the courtyard of the Ministry of Defense, to whom he asked “how many deaths would there be if a civil war starts here because of the incessant attempts of the coup plotters and the traitors? ”
He assured that Venezuela and in particular the FANB is an example of loyalty. “The world admires us for our resilience, yesterday the exemplary performance of the FANB was commented”, he said while making a special acknowledgement to the performance of the Capital Zone and Miranda bosses, the personnel of the La Carlota air base and Cavim.
He concluded his message by asking to step out of treachery: “Loyal to all proof”; also reiterating that the order is to reject and arrest the traitors and the coup plotters.
