President Maduro denounced new plans of violence from Colombia

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced on Monday new plans of violence from Colombia against the country.
“Venezuela wants peace with Colombia and with the whole world, but I say to the Colombian public opinion: Beware of Iván Duque, beware of Álvaro Uribe Vélez, because they want to generate new plans of violence in Venezuela”, he said during a balance of the Sovereignty and Peace 2019 Military Exercises.
In that sense, he approved a set of recommendations to maintain as permanent the alert and surveillance measures against the threats that are intended to be given from Colombian territory:
“All these threats, and the knowledge I had of the plans to create a false positive and bring the Colombian war into Venezuelan territory, have led me to make this fundamental decision of activating the Venezuela Sovereignty and Peace military operation”, he said.
