President Maduro reiterates willingness to conduct peace dialogues with all sectors of the opposition

“If the Norwegian government summons us to explore and restart the peace dialogues, we would go immediately. We are willing to talk with the other sector of the opposition”.
This was highlighted on Monday by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during a press conference with national and international media from the spaces of the Yellow House, headquarters of the Chancellory, in Caracas.
In his speech, the Head of State highlighted the willingness of his government team to meet with all the representatives of the opposition who are willing to talk, while recalling that a first phase of these dialogues is already being carried out with some of their spokesmen including former presidential candidates Henri Falcón, Claudio Fermín and Javier Bertucci.
Regarding the agreements reached at the National Dialogue Board, the President said that the deputies of the Homeland Bloc were reinstated to the National Assembly (AN) in contempt, as an effort of the negotiation processes between both sectors to re-institutionalize the Legislative instance, in favor of peace:
“The deputies of the Homeland Bloc return to the National Assembly to seek ways of communication, ways of peace, as an effort for dialogue”, he said.
