The Lara state reported the highest number of infections by Covid-19, exactly 201 out of the 1,286 that were registered in the last 24 hours.
It is followed by Yaracuy with 182, Miranda with 179, Zulia with 157, Sucre with 113 and Bolívar with 87 new cases.
The form of transmission is mostly community, during the last hours, only 6 cases are imported, 5 from Brazil and 1 from the Dominican Republic, which entered Venezuela through La Guaira and Carabobo states.
To date, the country has 209,162 confirmed cases, 192,075 recovered people, 14,783 active cases, 8,596 do not have Covid symptoms, 5,102 have mild respiratory failure, 768 are moderate and 317 patients are admitted into intensive care units.
This Monday, May 10, started the week of quarantine flexibilization, the population is urged to take extreme measures of biosecurity.
