The Admiral in Chief of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb), Remigio Ceballos, after following up and supervising the “Venezuela Sovereignty and Peace» military exercises, reported on Thursday that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) will activate a deployment throughout the coastal front of the country.
For this reason, Ceballos urged the commanders of the Strategic Regions of Integral Defense and the Operational Areas of Integral Defense to verify each navigation route.
«Today we have to protect our territory from the threats of countries that are against our sovereignty, especially oligarchic governments that try to fragment Venezuela», he said, quoted by Ceofanb in a press release.
The Sovereignty and Peace Military Exercises 2019, began on September 10 in La Fría, Táchira, as part of the security measures adopted by the Government of Venezuela against the permanent threats of countries subordinated to the interventionist policy of the United States administration that seeks to undermine the sovereignty of the Caribbean country.
