Misión Venezuela Bella rehabilitates and beautifies avenues and streets of the country


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, gave a summary of the “Misión Venezuela Bella” (Mission Beautiful Venezuela), created on January 30, with the purpose of embellishing and rehabilitating 60 cities throughout the national territory, to transform its public spaces into a to improve the quality of life for the people.
Among the cities rehabilitated in the first phase of this Mission are the following:
In Falcón state, San Miguel parish, was rehabilitated and embellished the Monseñor Iturriza stroll, which has 9,500 meters for the enjoyment of the people.
This Mission rehabilitated and improved one mile and a half of the Luis del Valle García avenue located in the municipality of Maturín, in Monagas state.
On the other hand, the governor of Guárico state, José Vásquez, indicated that was rehabilitated the Bolívar Square of San Juan de los Morros, in the Juan Germán Roscio municipality, a cultural and historical space with more than 80 years of construction.
Finally it was shown the progress in 60% of the rehabilitation on the 5 de Julio avenue in the Heres municipality of Bolívar state, which has had the investment of 315 million bolivars out of the 525 million that have been arranged for this project.
The National Head of State explained that of the 60 cities in which the rehabilitation processes would take place, only 54 were able to be executed, since some opposition mayors refused to participate in the project.
He also announced the inclusion of 10 more cities in the Aragua, Bolívar, Yaracuy, Portuguesa, Nueva Esparta, Guárico and Mérida states.
