In the last 24 hours, 1,448 new infections were detected in Venezuela; all cases by community transmission, as announced by the Executive Vice Minister, Delcy Rodríguez, through her account on Twitter.
Bolívar was the state that registered the highest number of community cases, 249, with active infections in 4 municipalities; followed by the entities: Caracas (177 cases), Cojedes (158) and Yaracuy (135 cases).
“Tomorrow, Monday, February 7, a new week begins and the broad easing continues in our country. We reiterate the call to the people not to be overconfident and to continue complying with biosecurity measures at all times. The key is prevention and special care,” stressed Rodríguez.
