Government resumes efforts to encourage foreign investment

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Jesus Farias, said on Tuesday that the export engine of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda will open new spaces for domestic and foreign entrepreneurs to invest their foreign currencies in the country with an absolute guarantee that they will recover them.
After participating in the National Economic Council, which was held in Caracas, he said that his office, along with the Executive, is working on the development of regulations to ensure and consolidate the confidence of investors as an initiative to eradicate the oil rentier model.
He also pointed out that few countries in Latin America offer as many windows for foreign investment such as Venezuela, which has a broad spectrum such as gas, oil, forestry, mining, tourism, among others.
