President Maduro urges CNE and ANC to advance parliamentary elections

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, urged on Friday the National Electoral Council (CNE) and the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) to advance parliamentary elections:
“I am eager for the National Electoral Council and the Constituent Assembly to convene elections. I want elections now, because I like the battle of ideas, the battle in the streets and in the political scope; in the next elections we are going to give the knockout of the century to the coup-plotting, homeland-selling right wing”, he said during the 2nd National Meeting of the Workers’ Productive Councils (CPT), from the School of Planning of the Rinconada in Caracas.
For the coming electoral contest, Maduro called on the country’s working class to start organizing and electing their candidates to represent this sector in the Legislative Power.
