Chancellor Arreaza accuses Duque of atrocious human rights violations

The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, qualified as shameless to the Colombian President, Ivan Duque, for pretending to accuse the Government of Venezuela of violating the human rights of citizens, when in his nation he is responsible for “atrocious violations of Human Rights, almost daily assassinations of social leaders and ex-combatants”, according to the Venezolana de Televisión website.
This was expressed by the Venezuelan diplomat after the recent statements of the Neogranadine leader in which he attacked the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, for an alleged violation of human rights, contained in the Report on the situation of human rights in Venezuela prepared by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN), Michelle Bachelet, and for which the International Criminal Court is asked to prosecute the Venezuelan Head of State.
Regarding Bachelet’s report, the Bolivarian Government submitted a total of 70 observations to the aforementioned report for observing a selective and biased view of the true situation of human rights in the Bolivarian nation.
The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela denounced at the 41st session of the UN Human Rights Council, in Geneva, Switzerland, that the text submitted by the international body does not mention the serious impact that the illegal blockade is exerting on the Venezuelan people. besides ignoring the country’s advances on human rights.
