COVID: Venezuela registered 133 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 133 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which 64 are community transmission cases and 69 cases are imported from Panama (27), Spain (15), Dominican Republic (12), Portugal (7), Türkiye (5), Peru (1), Bolivia (1) and Cuba (1), for a total of 548,703 accumulated confirmed cases to date.

This was announced this Wednesday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

The community cases are located mostly in Caracas (22), Zulia (13), Miranda (10), Bolívar (7) and Cojedes (5), among others.

On day 1,004 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,830 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 541,639 and there are 1,234 current active cases.
