President Maduro approved resources for the Siembra Cultiva Plan 2019


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, approved a loan of 228,439 million bolivares this Wednesday to execute the Siembra Cultiva (Sow and Harvest) Plan 2019, which aims to increase the production of items to advance towards the food sovereignty of the country.
During a journey of productive work from the Simón Bolívar Socialist Production Unit, in Aragua state, the head of state said that it is necessary to work the land to produce and satisfy the needs of Venezuelans.
He added that it is necessary to unite the elements such as machinery, seeds and financing to execute the projects.
This new loan is intended for 1,352 producers deployed in Barinas, Bolívar, Yaracuy, Cojedes, Guarico, Portuguesa, Sucre and Yaracuy states, in order to plant a total of 65,381 hectares of staple items, as explained the Minister for Agriculture and Lands , Wilmar Castro Soteldo.
