The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced on Monday the sabotage of 10 ships with a supply of gasoline to Venezuela, as part of the interventionist actions that seek to economically suffocate the country:
«When they are not stealing our money, they chase our boats: the boat that was bringing gasoline last week, they sabotaged us 10 boats so that they could not reach Venezuelan coasts», said the national leader from Fort Tiuna, while holding a meeting with the political high command of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).
He also reported that vessels that brought complementary food to the subsidized food program, known as the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP), were affected by preventing their departure.
The Bolivarian Government has also revealed the blockade of more than 30 billion dollars, directly affecting the Venezuelan people.
He emphasized that these actions seek to suffocate and totally isolate the government, aggressions that are happening both at a national and international level.
