Venezuela denounced to the UN terrorist attacks on the National Electric System


Samuel Moncada, ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the United Nations (UN), denounced to the Security Council of that organization the recent terrorist attacks that have affected the infrastructure of the National Electric System, as a flagrant violation of resolutions of the aforementioned institution.
The denounce was made during the open debate of the Security Council on the prevention and fight against the financing of terrorism, where Moncada requested to demand the resolutions to be fully implemented.
He also asked the UN for the use of political terrorist practices against legitimate government institutions to be categorically rejected.

«There is no good terrorism. In Venezuela there is terrorism promoted and protected by foreign powers, today we denounce these criminal actions before the Security Council and we demand the effective action of the organism responsible for international peace and security».
