President Maduro approved resources to strengthen the health sector


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, approved on Thursday resources to continue strengthening the health sector in the country, detailed below:
Were approved 56,679,000 bolivars to cover expenses of repair of the emergency air conditioning system and intensive therapy of the Antonio Patricio Alcalá Hospital in Cumaná.
Another 639,000,000 will be allocated to the implementation of the Concerted Plan for the reduction of severe morbidity and maternal mortality, strengthening the maternal route through the Humanized Delivery Plan.
Were allocated 64,538 million bolivars, through the Fonden, to complete the structural repair and expansion of the services of the Salvador Allende Integral Diagnostic Center, in Chuao, Miranda State.
Were approved the resources to reactivate the Quimbiotec production plant of blood products for an amount of 80,390,000 bolivars and 18,101,000 dollars.
Also 152,322 euros for the repair and start-up of the tomograph located in the Dr. Carlos Arvelo Military Hospital in Caracas.
During the graduation ceremony of medical specialists, the national leader urged the Minister for Health, Carlos Alvarado, to ensure that resources arrive quickly and these jobs can be fully developed for this sector, and without setbacks.
