Venezuela will demand respect for its sovereignty in the consultative referendum on DEC-3

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, urged the people of Venezuela to assert their sovereignty and demand respect for Venezuela in the upcoming elections on December 3 where voters will be consulted about Guayana Esequiba:

Recovering Guayana Esequiba is a mission of the people, it is a mission of the Homeland, this time we are going to do it with the people in the exercise of their sovereignty, voting in the historic referendum, we want peace, we want them to respect us, we want respect for Venezuela,” he emphasized during the commemorative event of the Bicentennial of the Liberation of Puerto Cabello.

Likewise, he invited voters to participate massively and express at the polls for the defense of Guyana territory:

Let’s get Venezuela respected with the vote, to vote as a family, for the values of the Homeland. Because the sun of Venezuela is born in the Essequibo!“ He noted.

In this sense, he expressed that Venezuelans have historically been the witnesses of the resistance and heroic victory of the people.
