Venezuela and Russia held bilateral meeting in NY


The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, held a meeting on Wednesday with the Russian ambassador to the United Nations (UN), Vassily Nebenzia, with the aim of strengthening the bilateral relations maintained by both nations.
In the meeting, held at the UN headquarters in New York, United States (USA); The Russian ambassador expressed his solidarity to Venezuela and the National Government, headed by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in the face of constant interventionist attacks in order to destabilize the nation, according to a press release from the ministerial body.
With the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, for 18 years have been strengthened cooperation relations between both nations and have been signed approximately 160 agreements.
Earlier, Chancellor Arreaza held a meeting with the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, in which he denounced the ongoing coup d’état promoted by the United States against Venezuela.
