The Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Jorge Rodríguez, explained that the Bolivarian Government has zero tolerance against false positives: “We are going to respond to every infamy that comes from satellite governments or the media apparatus that has attacked Venezuela”
From Miraflores Palace in a press conference he emphasized that the Bolivarian Government will not tolerate “lies” and “false positives” from Colombia about Venezuela, as well as showed confidential documents “that certify the participation of the Bolivarian Government in the search for agreements of Peace in Colombia”.
He described as a new false positive the intention to attack Venezuela by pointing out that the country protects acts of terrorism, when it is the Venezuelan State that has been the victim of terrorist acts developed from Colombia.
In this regard, he recalled that “terrorists are being trained in Colombia and then an attack is perpetrated in Caracas, and there are still media outlets that doubt the attack against the president Nicolás Maduro”.
Finally, he revealed that 36 requests were sent by the Colombian government to the Venezuelan Chancellory in order to facilitate the transit and stay of representatives of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and the National Liberation Army (ELN) during the dialogue process. for peace: “Venezuela, in a generous way, not only allowed that, but without our support it would have been impossible to initiate talks with these organizations, it would not have been possible without the help of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela”, he concluded.
