Maduro asks students to defend the Revolution and peace

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, invited the Venezuelan student movement to maintain the mobilization in defense of the Bolivarian Revolution and the national peace, and to strengthen the national spirit and conscience.

Yesterday, President Maduro swore in the members of the Venezuelan Federation of Students of Secondary Education (FEVEEM) and the team of the Venezuelan Federation of University Students (FVEU), elected during the Congress of the Venezuelan Youth.

As it will be remembered, in the political history of Venezuela, university students have been of great importance in the democratic development of the country, so from November 21, 1957, University Student Day is celebrated in honor of the students who rose in protest against Marcos Pérez Jiménez.
