More than 9,000 Venezuelans have returned to the country thanks to Vuelta a la Patria Plan

89 nationals returned on Monday to Venezuelan territory from the Republic of Chile with the Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) Plan, after requesting their voluntary repatriation.

This is the first flight from Chilean soil, which began early Sunday at the Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, located in the city of Santiago, the nationals were welcomed by teams from the MPPRE, as well as the Somos Venezuela movement and the Ministry of People’s Power for Health.

In this way, more than 9,000 Venezuelans have returned to their land thanks to the Vuelta a la Patria Plan from nations such as Ecuador, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, the Dominican Republic and Panama.

The Vuelta a la Patria Plan, created by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, provides support to Venezuelans who are abroad and decide to return to the country, having been victims of acts of xenophobia, labor exploitation and discrimination.
