Maduro committed to food safety of the Venezuelans

On October 16 is celebrated the World Alimentation Day, and the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated his willingness to guarantee the sovereignty and food security of the Venezuelan people, despite the economic and financial blockade imposed by US imperialism .

In his Twitter account, the Head of State comitted to promote the national agro-alimentary sector to produce all the food consumed in the country.

This Monday, the National President presented to the country the “Venezuela-Productive Power” National Plan of Development. As part of this initiative he created the Revolving Fund for the Development of Productive Regions, with 20 million Petros, and announced the relaunch of the Great Mission Sovereign Supply (GMAS).
