President Miguel Díaz-Canel welcomes Alba Digital Meeting

The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, sent greetings to the participants in the First Alba Digital Meeting, which takes place in Caracas on June 28, with the participation of 13 countries that form the Bolivarian Alliance for Peoples of Our Americas – Peoples Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) to discuss strategies and exchange experiences on how to confront the media siege and the hegemony of the great centers of power.

Through his profile on the Twitter social network, the Cuban president expressed that this meeting “is a fertile space to exchange experiences and strengthen alliances between our countries in the face of the fierce communicational war that is being waged against us”, he wrote.

This meeting will have the face-to-face modality with the representations of Venezuela, Cuba and Bolivia, and the virtual modality in which will participate through the Zoom platform the rest of the delegations that make up the Alliance.
