In the company of the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela, representatives of the agencies of the United Nations System (UN) in the Bolivarian nation joined the integral care carried out in the Las Tejerías sector of Aragua state, to the affected families.
That is why the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, acknowledged through her account on the Twitter social network all the support that the UN is providing in said population:
“We thank UN Venezuela for joining in reinforcing, with its cooperation and assistance, the response plan of the National Government in Las Tejerías. We will not leave here until we recover the tranquility and beauty of this land!” Rodríguez pointed out.
Meanwhile, the spokesman for the system and representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in the country, Abubacar Sultan, explained that they toured the area and saw the dimension of the disaster, as well as the resilience, individual mobilization of people and authorities to restore normality:
“We are going to continue together in support of this difficult moment,” said Sultan, while at the same time emphasizing that they have immediate support, with supplies that they are going to make available, but they are also working with the ministries in the cooperation of health, education, water and alimentation areas, through which they are providing technical support.
