The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, expressed the will of the Government to attend the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), to show the truth of the South American country and to denounce the evils of the world:
“We are prepared to defend the integrity and dignity of our people. We are willing to go to the General Assembly of the UN with the truth of Venezuela and the world”, she declared at a press conference offered from Miraflores Palace in the company of the Minister for Communication and Information, Jorge Rodriguez, in order to dismantle the matrix of opinion that international media hover over Venezuela regarding the migration of Venezuelans.
The Vice President said that the National Government communicated with the Secretary General of the UN, Antonio Guterres, because of the attitude of some officials of that organization against Venezuela: “We trust the secretary of the United Nations, who was elected for peace”, she said.
Finally she denounced that a group of countries that work for the imperial interests have united to attack Venezuela in the diplomatic instances and are preparing to continue their attack in the UN.
