Arreaza: Duque will talk about Venezuela at the UN to cover massacre in Colombia

Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza denounced on Tuesday that the President of Colombia, Iván Duque, will speak about Venezuela at the next General Assembly of the United Nations Organization (UN), which will be held in September, in order of covering up the massacre that the neo-granadine nation is experiencing:
“Again, the Colombian sub-president will devote to talk about Venezuela in the UN / General Assembly, while his people and the world await explanations about the failure of the Peace Process, the fight against drugs and the proliferation of terrorist groups and massacres in his country», wrote Chancellor Arreaza in his Twitter account.
The publication was in response to statements made by Duque, who said that at the UN he «Will denounce that the Venezuelan dictatorship is protecting and sponsoring Colombian terrorists in its territory, in a clear violation of Security Council Resolution 1373 of this organization».
More than 750 Colombian social leaders have been killed since 2016, after the signing of the Peace Agreements between the National Government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC-EP), for defending the rights of communities to a dignified life, to the preservation of their territories, the protection of ecosystems, the fulfillment of the peace agreement and the restitution of lands.
A report by the Institute for Peace and Development Studies (Indepaz), presented last July 10, and the Patriotic March political movement, says there are already more than 700 social leaders and 135 former FARC-EP combatants killed since 2016.
