Diplomatic missions deliver passports to Venezuelans abroad

This Wednesday, a total of 32 embassies and consulates of Venezuela abroad received the passports and extensions of Venezuelans residing in other countries.

This operation is activated by the Administrative Service of Identification and Immigration (SAIME) and the Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs (MPPRE), so that Venezuelans abroad can have their identity documents up to date.

Africa, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam, Canada, United States, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Hungary, United Kingdom, Romania, Switzerland, Nicaragua, Barbados, Colombia, Paraguay, Brazil, Guyana and Suriname are some of the countries that have received part of the 10,000 passports and extensions that are expected to be delivered to the diplomatic offices, as reports a press release.

Also, at the Consulate of Venezuela in Naples, Italy, at least 270 Venezuelans living in the south of that European nation are receiving their biometric passports.

In the consulates at Houston, USA; and Ottawa, Canada, 338 and 68 passports and extensions were received, respectively.

It is expected that in the coming days the identification documents will arrive to the rest of the Venezuelan diplomatic headquarters.
